Book Review: Evolution by Tenea D. Johnson
Evolution by Tenea D. Johnson provides dull pain as humans destroy themselves over and over, the same modern pressures we already know, but ramped up to an extreme position.

AK Press is a worker-run collective that publishes and distributes radical books and other media to expand minds and change worlds.
A half dozen of us put in long hours every week because we believe in what we do. We're anarchists, which is reflected both in the books we provide and in the way we organize our business. Decisions at AK Press are made democratically, from what we publish, to what we distribute and how we structure our labor. All the work is shared and it gets done without bosses. No one here is in it for the money (although we do have to pay the rent). Our goal is supplying radical ideas to as many people as possible. The books and other media we distribute are mostly published by independent presses, not the corporate giants. We make them widely available to as tools for social movements struggling to build a new world.
E-books are sold as both ePub and Mobi files.

Cassava Republic Press was founded in Abuja, Nigeria, 2006 by Bibi Bakare-Yusuf and Jeremy Weate with the aim of bringing high quality fiction and non-fiction for adults and children alike to a global audience.
Their mission is to change the way we all think about African writing.
"We think that contemporary African prose should be rooted in African experience in all its diversity, whether set in filthy-yet-sexy megacities such as Lagos or Kinshasa, in little-known communities outside of Bahia, in the recent past or indeed the near future.
We also think the time has come to build a new body of African writing that links writers and readers from Benin to Bahia. It’s therefore the right time to ask challenging questions of African writing – where have we come from, where are we now, where are we going? Our role is to facilitate and participate in addressing these questions, as our list grows. We are still just beginning."
E-books are available to buy as either ePub or Mobi files.

A Bagful of Dragon
I proofread this book for the author, thinking it wouldn't be my kind of thing, but I LOVED IT! Loads of fun, really creepy in parts and full of magic and danger.
Set in Leeds, it includes references to actual magical practices and Yorkshire's thriving magic sub-culture.
A great, fast-paced story with a strong 'Do It Herself' female lead. Can't wait to proof read the sequel.
All is Fair
Fun, busy, and it was 3 years ago when I read it and I can't remember anything about the story, which is great because that means it's time to read it again!
Mosaic novel: a set of vignettes that link together beautifully to create one of the possible scenarios for the grinding end of the world as we know it.
